Pramkicker — Taffety Punk Theatre Company

In the Fall of 2018, Taffety Punk Theatre Company invited me to create a set for their production of Pramkicker, Sadie Hasler's two-woman show about what it means to be a woman. I borrowed imagery from two reclining nudes in the canon of art history for the set design: Matisse's Large Reclining Nude and Ingres' Grande Odalisque.  Playing with the idea of perspective, from each vantage point the viewer can see only one of the figures, while the other becomes distorted and abstracted.
